Part of our inspiration in reviving Madden Equipment was reuniting the original team who made the packs back in the 80′s. The original team (Israel in above pic – original sewer with bag #1!) the original equipment, the original patterns. We believe these qualities are what made the brand so special in the beginning and what will continue to make the brand a keeper for years to come.

Mike & Tina at the Cutting Table

The team examines raw materials – all our fabrics are produced at a mill in Massachusetts.

We make our goods in the USA not because it’s cool or trendy, but because of the quality of workmanship. Producing the packs here in Colorado allows us better control of raw materials and our finished product and, yes, we admit it allows us to get back together with the old gang again – and that’s just fun.

We are grateful to have our Madden Originals gang reunited – doing what we love to do – making packs. So here’s a look at the first bags rolling off the line.

We use all the original patterns from Madden Equipment’s production back in the 70’s and 80’s. Here is a Daylight pack in the works.
